Empowering Disability Advocacy with Phillip Bramwell

Phillip Bramwell is a disability education consultant living in Arizona. He is passionate about using his experiences as a person with Cerebral Palsy to educate pediatric medical professionals. With his life experiences as a patient with a complex condition, plus his experiences as a child actor and model, and his time as a collegiate journalist, he has gained the tools to teach, advocate for, and challenge disability issues.

As a medical patient, he learned and absorbed information from his environment. Phillip has observed positive and less effective methods and he wants to share this information. As a child actor and model, he learned how to present his disability in a way that can combine education and entertainment. As a collegiate journalist, he learned to cope better with his speech impediment and use his experiences to advocate for better communication within healthcare.
